C-Grade Premiers!

Congratulations to the C-grade team for their comprehensive win in the section 6 Grand Final.

Coromandel Ramblers III 132 (N. Elliott 59; C. Gowling 3/31, A. Harris 3/33)
Adelaide Cavaliers II 77 (D. Allen 26, K. Harris 20; M. Withers 6/12, E. McGough 2/32)

Nat Elliott continued his great form with the bat compiling a very well made 59 and batted for much of the day. Mark Withers was the star with the ball taking 6/12 off 14 overs. Eddie McGough picked up 2, The Hoff picked up a crucial wicket early on and a run out in the first over the day certainly helped things.

Not so much good news in the other game – the D-Grade lost in their quest for back-to-back premierships. Things just didn’t go right all weekend and it was just one of those games. Still – a great effort to make the GF 2 years running.

Sheidow Park V 9/219 (B. Durbridge 70*, J. Osman 37, M. McLaughlin 29, C. Pentland 27; S. Kennedy 3/37, A. Good 2/37, M. Breton 2/44)
Coromandel Ramblers IV 114 (M. Jenner 36, M. Breton 26; A. Mansfield 3/11, M?. McLaughlin 3/48, M. Hibberd 2/22, B. Durbridge 2/30)

2 out of 3 ain’t bad
