As part of the planning process undertaken recently, the club is about to undertake a new junior program. However, we are in need of a few more players for the Under 11′s program if this team is going to succeed. Currently, there are 7-9 keen young individuals, but a few more would enable a proper and rotational squad to be formed.

For the upcoming season, slight changes have occurred on the club website. These are detailed below:

• Draft schedules have been uploaded to the senior pages.
• A new, junior section has been added for the junior program.
• Special performances will be recognised throughout this season and uploaded accordingly.
• Contact lists have now been updated to the current season.
• Additionally, Ashley can now also be contacted if something needs to be uploaded or updated to the website. Glen will still undertake this task as well.

Other updates and additions may also happen throughout this season. Good luck and keep up with the pre-season practice.

Sunday pre-season training sessions will begin this weekend (Sunday, 13th of September) at Weymouth Oval from 10-12 in the morning. They will continue for the next few weeks until the weekly Wednesday trainings begin.

If players are not attending the Thursday night sessions, then it is recommended they attend these Sunday morning session. However, all players (both new and current) are welcome to attend.

This Sunday (13 of September) will also incorporate a working-bee for the oval, so if you could bring some form of gardening equipment, it would be appreciated. This could be a lawnmower, whipper-snipper, white paint or even wire to fix the nets, it would all be appreciated. If things are fixed on Sunday, it means that we don’t have to do them later on in the year.
