About the club
General Club Information
• The CVRCC is affiliated with the Adelaide and Suburban Cricket Association (est. 1899), providing a senior hard wicket cricket competition. In addition, CVRCC has recently become affiliated with the South Central Junior Cricket Association, providing junior cricket within the southern and inner-south areas.
• The Club holds an AGM each season where the Executive are elected for the coming season. Nominations for Captains and Vice captains are received at this meeting and are selected by the incoming committee.
Home grounds are located at:
Senior A and B Grade as well as Under 11’s and 13’s
Hawthorndene Oval, Watahuna Ave Hawthorndene
C and D Grade as well as Milo in2CRICKET Centre
Weymouth Oval, Main Road Coromandel Valley
• Level 2 Coaching Staff are available for individual attention.
• Fundraising is fundamental to the Club’s financial security and your support is vital.

Senior Information
• Games are normally 2 day fixtures with playing times normally 1.30 PM to 5.30 PM (60 over minimum) except for A Grade games which are 1.00 PM to 6.00 PM (75 over minimum). Special match rules apply to 1 day and major round games.
• The season is normally 11 minor round games starting early October and concluding in March. Two weeks of finals are contested following the minor round.
• The CVRCC currently has 4 teams entered in various divisions.
• Semi-junior Cricket is catered for in our C and D grade sides where a blend of junior and senior players provides an ideal learning ground in which young cricketers are encouraged to develop their cricketing skills.
• Practices are held every Wednesday night through the season at Weymouth Oval, starting at 5:00 PM. Optional sessions are held on Thursday nights from 6:00pm with prior notification.
Junior Information
• Games are 2 day fixtures with playing times normally 9.00 AM to 11.30 AM (40 over minimum). Special match rules apply to Under 11’s, where teams bat and bowl in the same day.
• The season is normally 9 minor round games starting in mid-October and concluding in February.
• The CVRCC currently has teams entered in various age groups.
• Practices are held every Thursday night through the season at Weymouth Oval, starting at 5:00 PM and finishing at 6:00pm.
• CVRCC also run a Milo in2CRICKET centre for those too young to participate in competitive cricket. These sessions are held in Term 4 and 1 on Friday Nights from 6.15 PM to 7.15 PM at Weymouth Oval.
