About

Coromandel Ramblers are a highly successful cricket club in the Adelaide Suburban Cricket Association.

Juniors

In season 2009/10, the Coromandel Ramblers Cricket Club entered into new territories by establishing a junior program for the local community. As a start, the club undertook two new approaches, with a view to establish close links with the local junior community and strive in meeting its need to play cricket in a fun and social setting. Initially, the club undertook an in2CRICKET centre, which offered children from about 5 to 8 years of age to develop the basics skills of cricket in a family friendly environment. Further, the club also nominated an Under 11′s side in the South Central Junior Cricket Association, which played its games on Sunday morning as a means to not interrupt school cricket. Again, these games are played in a social atmosphere where skill and social development is placed as important, but a competitive aspect is also included.

Moving into the 2010/11 season, the Coromandel Ramblers Cricket Club will be moving forward again by undertaking the same programs and sessions listed above, and with the addition of an Under 13′s team in the South Central Junior Cricket Association. This new team allows those already playing as well as those just about to enter high school an opportunity to continue their playing days in a fun, family friendly environment. Naturally, more details will follow as the season approaches, but please feel free to contact the individuals below if you require any further information.
