Major Auction Item – 2011 Backyard Blitz

Climate Change Landscape and Project Design

Once again, the club will be holding a major auction of a ‘Backyard Blitz’, kindly donated by Brett Lawson at Climate Change Landscape and Project Management, as well as the labour by a number of current players. Last year, this prize was sold for just under $2,900, with the winner developing his backyard into what would have cost him $15,000 elsewhere. Photo’s of this process are below, with details of what Climate Change Landscape and Project Management located here.

Other Auction Items

Other major prizes on the night include -

  • Various equipment from the recent One Day International match between Australia and England, including the gloves that Jonathon Trott wore in his century,
  • A signed and framed Murray Walker shirt,
  • A Mark Waugh signed Australian One Day International Shirt,
  • Plus, further items as the night approaches.

In addition, there will always be the usual ‘silent auction’ items, for which you can only be there on the night to view.
