The Coromandel Valley Ramblers Cricket Club are proud to announce that the annual Double Wicket Competition will once again be held in the 2010/11 season. The details of the event are as follows -
- Date – Sunday, 21st of November, 2010
- Time – 10:00am start
- Location – Weymouth Oval, Main Road, Coromandel Valley
- Cost – $10 per player
- Prize – $100 for the winning pair
As part of this cost, you are eligible to receive the winners prize as well as a BBQ lunch. For a further $10, the family can also eat as much as they like for the whole day.
In addition, prizes will be awarded to the longest throw and hit at the end of the day, as well as for those who win the children’s games throughout the day. As per usual, a free soft drink will be provided to those taking a catch or run-out.
This day is designed for the family and hence, we would love to see everyone attend. Whilst the double wicket competition is open to adults, children’s activities will take place during the day to keep them entertained.
