Ramblers win 2nd 20/20 game

The Ramblers had a good win against North Haven last night in the 2nd round of the 20/20 competition.

North Haven batted first and were kept to 118 with some strong bowling from Dwayne Ruddock and Justin Calderbank. Conditions were a bit different to usual as the game started @ 6pm with the oval lights coming on at around 7:30pm.

Jeff “Moose” Colo took 4 catches, one of which was a ripper at full stretch to catch their captain.

With the white ball in use, most of the Ramblers batsmen never looked overly comfortable with the low bounce and difficult seeing conditions. Josh Haussen made a solid 32 and Nick Work made a quick 40 to get the team near the total before a late collapse to end up 8/120.

A good win and the club goes through to the next round.
