Milo in2CRICKET this week.

March 11th, 2010

Currently, there is a need to find a few more club volunteers for Friday night’s in2CRICKET session. If you can volunteer between 6:00pm and 7:30pm, then can you give Happy a call on 0408 806 552 at your earliest convenience. All volunteers are provided with a free BBQ for dinner and no previous coaching experience is required when guiding these future cricketers.

BBQ this weekend.

March 11th, 2010

There has been a change of venue for the final BBQ of the year. Instead of being at Weymouth Oval, Geoff ‘Gyprock’ Jenner’s residence just up the road on Light Road, Coromandel Valley. The club will provide drinks and the BBQ, so all we ask for is your attendance and a folding chair to sit in. Gyprock’s address can be found by asking your captain on Saturday or by giving him a call on 0417 815 622

UPDATED 5/3 – Selected senior sides for Round 11 can be found here. If there are any problems or changes, can you please contact Matthew Smith, whose details can be found on the contacts page.

2010 Quiz Night Coming Soon!!

February 11th, 2010

The 2010 Coromandel Ramblers Cricket Club Quiz Night is coming in a couple of weeks, so the club would like to see you all there. The quiz night will include small games as well as an eight or ten round quiz across a variety of subject matters. The night will be hosted by Wayne ‘The Hoff’ Hasel and quizmaster David ‘Bubbles’ Neil. Further details are below as well as on the social page.

What – The 2010 Coromandel Ramblers Quiz Night

When – 7:30pm on the 27th of February, 2010

Where – Blackwood Memorial Hall, 21 Coromandel Parade, Blackwood (Map provided below shortly)

How Much – $10 per head

Why – It would be nice to see you all there for a bit of fun, questioning and socialising.

Other details – BYO Drinks allowed in a responsible manner, but a bar service is also available. All items purchased at the bar will go towards club related activities.

The club is currently in the process of approaching all players for donations to the silent auction, with a myriad of prizes already collected. All players are expected to donate a small gift to the silent auction as a means to a) remove some unwanted items from around the house, and b) to help support the club in its current activities. In addition, round sponsors are also a new feature for this year, so if you would like to give your company a plug for a few minutes for a small donation, then please contact Jarrad through the means below.

What the club would like to know regards the seating of tables of particular individuals or groups. It is suggested that each team should be able to provide two tables of ten. However, the swapping of people and answers across tables is certainly allowed across the night

If you are intending to come along as well as bringing a few family members or friends or have any further questions, then please contact Jarrad Benson through his email address or on 0400 275 869.

The recommencement date of the Milo in2CRICKET program is the Friday, 19th of February, 2010. This program then concludes on the Friday, 26th of March, 2010. All other details remain the same, in that it will still be held at Weymouth Oval from 6:15pm until 7:15pm, with a BBQ being provided after most, if not all, sessions.

For further information or to register your child’s details if you are new to the program, please visit the Milo in2CRICKET web page or contact Ashley Bryant through the details provided on the contacts web page.
