Following our recent recognition as South Australia’s Community Club of the Year, we are incredibly proud to announce that the Coromandel Valley Ramblers Cricket Club has now been named Cricket Australia’s Community Cricket Club of the Year!
This is the highest honor a community cricket club can receive, and we’re humbled to be the first South Australian club in history to win this prestigious award.
The National Community Cricket Awards, presented by Cricket Australia, celebrate clubs that unite and inspire everyone to love and play cricket. With over 3,300 community clubs across the nation, this recognition places us at the very top—something every player, volunteer, supporter, and family member can be immensely proud of.
This is our third national award, having previously won the Technology and Media Initiative of the Year in 2020/21 and again in 2023/24.

• Junior Development – Removing financial barriers by reducing fees through Government Sport Vouchers, ensuring every child can play cricket.
• Community Connection – Our Sponsorship Loyalty Program has injected over $850,000 back into the local economy in just four years.
• Mental Health Advocacy – Through events like the Ashley Bryant Memorial T20 Match and the Ramblers Support Platform, we promote vital mental health awareness.
• Inclusivity and Growth – Pioneering programs like Walking Cricket for Over 50s and dedicated female participation pathways encourage everyone to be part of the game.
This award reflects the unwavering commitment of our committee, volunteers, players, and supporters, who work tirelessly to make our club a place where people of all backgrounds can play, grow, and belong.
