Welcome to our club, and thanks for coming along on Sunday!

It was fantastic to see so many new faces at our Golden Ticket come-and-try day. Whether your child has picked up a bat before or swung one for the very first time, there's a spot for them at the Coromandel Valley Ramblers. We run teams for both girls and boys right through the junior age groups, so everyone has somewhere to play!

We are not too far away from Junior Pre-Season training commencing (late September / early October) so our co-ordinators will be in touch in the coming weeks. Fixturing will not be far behind but before that can be completed we need to nominate teams for the upcoming season.

Ready to register?

Registration for the season ahead goes through PlayHQ. It takes about five minutes, and once you're done you're locked in for the season. We encourage you to action this sooner rather than later as we are required to nominate teams now & having accurate numbers is important!

We are proud to offer Junior Boys cricket for only $99 per season & Junior Girls cricket for $49 a season. We have a strong focus on making sport affordable for families and also provide equipment to use on match days if the budget does not extend to buying your own.

The cap presentation.

Every junior player gets their first Ramblers playing cap presented to them at their first match by one of our senior players. It's the same cap the seniors wear, and it's on the club — you don't need to buy one.

We make a bit of a fuss of it because our juniors matter to us. The kids getting a cap this season are the ones who'll be playing senior cricket here in a few years

Uniforms and merchandise.

As mentioned above, playing caps are taken care of, with everything else — playing shirts, training gear, club apparel and merchandise — on our ClubApp app (see below!) Junior girls' playing uniforms are included in their subs thanks to SACA, the South Australian Cricket Association.

Order early — this one matters. There are manufacturing timelines we can't get around, and we've had an overwhelming number of new players join us this year. We have good stock on the way, but the sooner you order, the sooner we can get it in your hands. Please don't leave it until the first week of the season.

ClubApp is where the club lives day to day, so this one's worth doing before the season starts. It's free to download, it's branded in Ramblers colours, and it's how you'll hear from us and your coaches this season.

Once you're in, you'll get club and team announcements straight to your phone, the full calendar of matches, training and events, and the team management side of things — your coach and team manager will post match details and ask for availability through the app, so a quick tap from you each week tells them whether your child is available to play. You'll also find the club shop, volunteer opportunities and club news all in the one place.

We will let you know when you should request to join a team, we need to get our numbers sorted out first before we can start locking them in!

Can you lend a hand?

Every team at our club runs on parent volunteers, and you don't need cricket experience to help. Team managers keep the week ticking along with a bit of admin and communication. Coaches get support and training from the club, and there's a role for you whether you can give an hour a week or a whole season. If you're even slightly curious, tick the box when you register or have a chat with us — the club is built on people who put their hand up.
